Kiwanis of East Orange County is a group of dedicated volunteers that makes a positive impact in our communities on a regular basis. We sponsor Service Leadership Programs in 9 schools, support our local schools and teachers, donate food and supplies to the homeless, and meet other needs in our community as they arise. In September of 2020, we donated care baskets to the 9 schools we support filled with sanitizing items, along with back-up face masks. The baskets are just a token of our appreciation for all the hard and incredible work the principals, teachers and support staff do to educate our children.

This is what Kiwanis K-Kids gives to club members - a sense of appreciation and respect for community! Thank you to faculty advisors, Michelle Seiler and Kristel Murphy for giving their students a valuable experience in service leadership! From Ms. Seiler:
"Waterford K-Kids has been busy and we wanted to share some of our recent activities with you. Waterford K-Kids collected items for our local first responders. The donated snacks and packs of playing cards was enough to create 3 baskets! One basket went to our SRO, Deputy Chiota, to share with the other SRO deputies who keep our local schools safe. Another basket is being delivered to the local sheriff substation to benefit deputies who patrol our community. The third basket was delivered to our local fire station off Lake Underhill.
